A few of the books we’re currently reading on climate change - would love to know suggestions for any others to add to the pile...
From left to right:
How Bad Are Bananas? by Mike Berners-Lee looks at the carbon footprint of pretty much everything! For instance, did you know that a typical year of incoming emails adds up to the equivalent of 200 miles driving in an average car!
There Is No Planet B by Mike Berners-Lee (again). This is essential reading for anyone concerned about the state of the Earth. It looks at various different aspects such as travel and transport, food & drink (we found this particularly interesting) and energy, and even includes a handy glossary in the back to help decipher all the terms thrown around in conversations about climate change.
The Uninhabitable Earth by David Wallace-Wells doesn't sugar coat anything, nor should it. It is packed full of facts and jaw-dropping insights into the problem that humankind has created. It’s an urgent read that will leave you wide awake and desperate for change.
